Aviva Removes Additional Theft Excess for Land Rover and Range Rover Vehicles
Aviva has announced a positive change to its Minifleet proposition by removing the additional theft excess previously applied to Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles.
The change took effect for all new business from 31 May 2026 and will automatically apply to existing policies at renewal.
The decision reflects current market conditions and further strengthens what is already one of the broadest Minifleet offerings available. Aviva continues to provide cover for businesses operating between one and twenty vehicles at new business, with the flexibility to grow as businesses expand.
For fleet operators using Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles, the removal of the additional theft excess means a simpler policy structure and improved claims experience in the event of a theft loss.
At Clarke Williams, we welcome insurer developments that provide tangible benefits to clients and improve policy coverage without adding complexity.
